Ideas...August 19th

I haven't really had time to come up with any new ideas or doodles because I've been working like a busy little bee on completing some orders.  I reallllly hope to have pictures of some orders soon.

In the meantime, here's a few doodles I've whipped up over the last week or so.

How cute would this be on a piece of long wood too?  The house on one end and the quote following?  Mine and Marty's very first home was a tiny little thing.  But love lived there.  And it was home. :)

I'm not loving the sketch of this.  But can you picture this on a canvas with a sun shining in the background and the words in bright, fun colors?  I can see this hanging in a kid's bathroom.  What better way to start the day than with this reminder??

Also, you may be curious, but this is usually how I doodle.....on the back of a bank envelope.  Words and drawings jumbled everywhere.  Usually the doodles I post here are ones that I've "cleaned up" from an original, much rougher version.

I'm feeling like another printable/giveaway.....who's in?

Cabinet to Canvas?

So, I found these cabinet fronts the other day at a junk sale.  I'm feeling super inspired by them.

Can't you picture the outside of the cabinet being painted like a frame and then having a quote or a Bible verse or a monogram or whatever your little heart desires in the middle of it???

Would anyone be interested in something like this?  Or did I waste my money?

Chalk + A Driveway = Inspiration

Sometimes, all you need is a bucket of chalk and a driveway for inspiration to hit.

I'm picturing this as a giant canvas, or a set of two canvases.  This is special to Marty and I because it was the Bible verse that the preacher chose to talk about at our wedding.

Great for an office, paint room, kid's playroom....

I can't take credit for the design on this one.  It was a quote I found on Pinterest.  I thought it was so perfect, I didn't want to mess with it at all.

Obviously, any of these can be done in any color imaginable.  When you're drawing with chalk, options are pretty limited to draw things out.

I would have done so much more, but my kid came outside and made me come in and eat dinner.  Who says I have to be the adult all the time?
